SWINGING - How we first got started in the Lifestyle
Deb comes from a extremely strict Catholic family and upbringing. For Michael it was very different. While also having a Catholic upbringing it was certainly not a strict one as Debs was. He had also knocked about much more coming from a small country town (Guyra in the New England) moving to Sydney for work after leaving school where he remained. While it was not the case for Michael, Michael was the first boy Deb had been out to dinner with and her first Boy Friend with it progressing from going out to dinner to getting married. We have now been happily married since August 1980. During the course of our marriage neither of us had ever strayed which probably has a lot to do with neither of us having any interest at all in meeting or playing apart or even playing separately in separate rooms. For us it is not something either of us is doing solely just for themselves but something we both enjoy, experience and share together. It might sound a bit odd for a couple who enjoy swinging but for either of us, meeting anyone or playing without the other being there for us would be much the same as cheating.
In 2004, a couple of years after the birth of our son who was a long time in coming, we were talking one night about different things with Michael asking Deb if she had ever wondered what it would be like to have sex with someone different as she had never had sex with anyone but him. She said she had sometimes wondered about it and also had sometimes wondered what it would be like with another female but it was something she had only thought about on the odd occasion with no intention of ever doing anything about it or even making any mention of it until Michael brought it up. With Michael being Michael he got busy looking on the computer and the thing that most struck the both of us was the sheer number of middle aged, married, people next door type couples just like us who were interested in swinging and meeting other couples which made us feel that we were not so out of the ordinary after all. After a great deal of talking we ended up joining a couple of the commerical sites as paid members so that we could send messages and hopefully meet a few couples. It was not long before we started chatting with and meeting couples who like us were either married or in a similar long term relationship as well as a few single females. We ended up meeting some of the couples and ladies we had exchanged messages and chatted with and had what we can only describe as some truly memorable and incredibly erotic fun like we had never before experienced. Like the majority of couples on any of the Adult / swingers sites we never had any interest in single males which seems pretty common with many of the couples interested in swinging. While now some years later we may consider a MFM 3 sum if we come across the right person it has not yet happened which does not worry us at all with the fun we are having with the couples we have come to know. As our main interest is still couples we have not really been looking and we are in no particular hurry. If we come across the right person we will see how things go when and if that happens as anything you would do with a single male or female you do with a couple plus with the extra person there is so much more you can all do ;-)
Some we have met things did not end up going anywhere as it sometimes happens for no particular reason while with others we met we hit it off straight off the bat and had some really great times. We were both very nervous our first time not sure just how things were going to go but as it worked out the first couple we met made us feel very comfortable and relaxed with the both of us having a fantastic time like nothing we had experienced before leaving us both very very keen for more of the same. Both the girls played with each other as well during the course of the evening which was a huge first for Deb which she very much enjoyed. With our first experience turning out the way it did we have never looked back having many more very memorable experiences with people who are now also very good long term friends we always look forward to catching up and having lots of fun with. Anyway that is pretty much our story. In short we have no regrets at all having had many very memorable experiences which we otherwise never would have had making good friends that we not only play with but also do a lot with socially who we otherwise would never have met so for us it has been win win all the way.
